Sperm donation typically involves the provision of sperm by a healthy heterosexual man to a sperm bank or fertility clinic for the purpose of artificially inseminating a woman who is not his sexual partner. Most recipients of donor sperm are heterosexual couples dealing with male infertility, lesbian couples and single women. Sperm donors get paid for their samples, but there are numerous qualifications to meet before a sperm bank or fertility clinic accepts the donor as a client.

Bring sperm donation up in conversation and it will almost certainly be met by sniggers. You may undergo some test before donating sperm. You should be free of diseases. You’ll also have to provide details about your family members. Your lifestyle will also be analyzed. The authorities will check your family history for chronic and genetic diseases. In case you are likely to have an inherited disease, you’ll be rejected. You will be given a request form for your tests. These tests are required as part of the routine screening process necessary to donate sperm. You will need to get the tests completed so the results are available at your medical check-up. You are also required to provide urine samples throughout the donation process. Any results from your medical check-up and blood tests will be given to you by your specialist or fertility coordinator.

Clinics and donors alike are essentially standing for personal choice. The Success rate of the pregnancy by using sperm donation is depending on the many factors like age and health of the recipient. The success rate also depends on the donor sperm count if the sperm count is good chances of getting pregnant are more.

Surrogacy

Surrogacy is the second name of god for those couples who are infertile. Surrogacy process requires two parties, one intended parent who want to have a child and other is a surrogate, who is willing to help them to complete their family. A woman carries and gives birth to a baby for the couple who want to have a child. In the surrogacy, the woman gets paid off by the couples. Once the couple found a surrogate, they can begin the medical proceedings for which they need to sign a legal agreement in which rights of surrogate and intended parent is clearly available and have some rules or laws that need to be followed during the whole procedure by both the parties. The legal process is also tricky because it varies from state to state. You may want to think about surrogacy if you tried but couldn’t get pregnant with a variety of assisted-reproduction techniques, such as IVF. Surrogates have also made parenthood an option for people who might not be able to adopt a child, perhaps because of their age or marital status.

There are two types of surrogate mother

Traditional Surrogate: Traditional surrogacy is the simplest and least expensive form of surrogacy. The surrogate mother uses an insemination kit to become pregnant using the intended father’s semen. She then carries the baby and delivers the child. A traditional surrogate is the baby’s biological mother.
Gestational surrogates: A technique called “in vitro fertilization” (IVF) now makes it possible to gather eggs from the mother, fertilize them with sperm from the father, and place the embryo into the uterus of a gestational surrogate. The surrogate mother does not use her own eggs. The surrogate then carries the baby until birth.

Surrogacy Qualifications

In surrogacy, qualification is now very important. Most surrogacy agencies and fertility clinics require surrogates to meet the following general qualifications:

• Be in good physical and mental health
• Have carried and delivered at least one child
• Have had pregnancies that were all free of complications and were full-term
• Be less than 43 years of age (some clinics will accept older woman in certain circumstances; others have younger age cut-offs for all surrogates);
• Be in a stable living situation; and
• Not smoke or abuse alcohol.

IVF: Myth or Expectation

IVF is something, people think twice before taking treatment. IVF is expensive to process but gives maximum successful results. People have negative thinking related to IVF due to IVF tests and its expenses.
IVF is mostly mistreated in the world. Once upon a time people thinks IVF is something that is only affordable by the rich people. But nowadays IVF becomes a very common treatment for infertility.

You should go through the research before you choose a doctor.The question is whether this technology can be used in a morally safe or not. During IVF, mature eggs are received from ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. After this fertilized eggs or eggs are well established in the uterus.Some of the ways that they try to do this are to implant no more than three embryos in the mother, make sure that it is the husband’s sperm and the wife’s egg, and freeze the leftover for future implantation.
IVF was originally devised to overcome infertility caused by blocked or absent fallopian tubes. Today, IVF is used to treat much more reproductive problems, including irregular ovulation, low sperm count or motility, and unexplained infertility. If you have a child conceived by IVF it is important to understand that each and every child conceived by IVF is precious, beautiful and loved by God. Every child is legitimate but not every means of conception is morally defensible.

People have a great myth for IVF that IVF does not give the successful results. But they all forget that God is the author of life. People die all the time but that does not mean we can cause a situation which puts our children’s lives into grave danger. Although IVF has a 10-20% success rate, each embryo has a 99% chance of dying.
IVF treatment is now available in every country at very low cost. IVF is very common these days. Sometimes IVF gives unbelievable results. In the whole IVF journey, you need to a patient because IVF gives you some sad and bad results. This is very necessary to be happy and be calm in the whole IVF process to get positive results.
